Introduction: The Australian dollar still isnt in its good old days, but the performance is definitely improving. Resistance lines tend to work in a smoother manner than support lines, but they also work well. The pair move well together, not much volatility, but easy to chart and easy to trade with low risk factors

Weekly Analysis and Recommendation:

The AUD/USD hit a high of 1.0577 on Monday and ended the week at 1.0510 down for the week. Home Loan data hit the Aussie hard early in the week, followed later in the week with disappointing employment data, which weighed the currency down. The Aussie rebounded on Friday after positive data from China.

The Aussie firmed on news that China’s Gross domestic product increased by 7.8 percent in 2012, down from 9.3 percent in 2011 as the data also showed that the economy picked up pace in the last three months of the year.
